CardioSmart is a patient education website of the American College of Cardiology. Its mission is to engage, inform and empower patients to better prepare them for participation in their own care.
Consumers can learn about the different types of heart disease, tests and treatment options. Tools are available to help users to assess their risk of developing heart disease and learn how to reduce it. An online tool is also available to track and chart blood pressure readings. A video library includes online videos on cholesterol, tests, procedures and more.
